Gantry crane is a variation of bridge crane, where the bridge is supported on the ground track by the legs on both sides. It can be adapted to both indoor and outdoor applications to lift and move heavy loads or materials. With the characteristics of high site utilization, large operating range, wide adaptability and strong versatility, gantry cranes are frequently used in port and cargo yards. Its picking device can be a hook, grab, electromagnetic chuck, of which two or three of them can be used at the same time for increased work efficiency and flexibility. When the picking device is a hook, the crane work duty is A2-A6. When the picking device is a grab or an electromagnetic chuck, the crane work duty is A4-A7.
Crane working environment:
- The power source of the crane is three-phase AC, the frequency is 50Hz, and the voltage is 380V. The upper limit of the allowable voltage fluctuation of motors and electrical devices is + 10% of the rated voltage, and the lower limit is -15% of the rated voltage.
- The installation of crane running track shall meet the requirements of GB 10183.
- The altitude of the place where the crane is installed and used does not exceed 1000m. When hen exceeding, it should be indicated in the contract.
- The radiant heat temperature of the lifted objects to the hook of the crane should not exceed 300 ° C.
- The working environment must be free from flammable, explosive and corrosive gases.
- The maximum wind pressure of the crane for outdoor use in non-working state is 800Pa.
- For indoor gantry cranes:
- The ambient temperature does not exceed + 40 ° C, and the average temperature within 24h does not exceed + 35 ° C.
- Ambient temperature is not lower than -5 ℃.
- The relative humidity does not exceed 50% at a temperature of + 40 ° C.
- For outdoor gantry cranes:
- The ambient temperature does not exceed + 40 ° C, and the average temperature within 24h does not exceed + 35 ° C.
- The ambient temperature is not lower than -25 ° C.
- When the ambient temperature does not exceed + 25 ° C, the relative humidity is allowed to temporarily reach 100%.
- Working wind pressure should not be greater than: 150Pa inland and 250Pa along the coast.
